Sports and philanthropy came together in perfect harmony on January 18, 2026, at the Tzu Chi Klang Pickleball Charity Tournament. Held at 9Pickle in Setia Alam, the tournament brought community members together for a day of active, healthy competition with a meaningful purpose.

The event was spearheaded by Tan Sri Dr Lim Wee Chai, who generously served as the Organising Chairman. Under his leadership, the tournament successfully rallied participants and supporters to raise vital funds for a significant local project: the construction of the Jing Si Hall in Klang.

Once completed, the Jing Si Hall will serve as a crucial hub for the Tzu Chi Foundation’s ongoing humanitarian, educational, and community outreach programs in the region. By combining the growing popularity of pickleball with a spirit of giving, the charity tournament not only promoted physical wellness but also laid the foundation for a stronger, more supported community in Klang.
